52 Week Project, Week 4
Week Four!
This week is the first self-portrait of the project. Inspiration? About a week ago I was hanging out with one of my best friends outside in the freezing cold around 2am, She was wearing one of those jackets with the fur covered hood and was all wrapped up in it to keep warm. I of course thought it looked awesome and kept messing with it. I decided I wanted to do a self pic with her jacket. This weekend another one of my best friends, Katey, came over to the studio to have some photos of her adorable little girl taken (in exhange for a hair cut for myself...I love a good barter). She is an extremely talented hair stylist and make up artist and needed some photos done for her portfolio. So the next day we had planned for a couple of girls to come by the studio and get worked on for photos. One of the models ended up not being able to show up so I volunteered myself to get hair and makeup done. It just so happened that Katey showed up with one of those furry hooded jackets. Since I had on real makeup I figured there was no better time to shoot my tribute to the insane cold we are briefly experiencing in RVA.
