Sometimes I just need to travel....okay, I always need to travel.  Sometimes I just make it happen.  I was sitting around the apartment working one night and decided that I needed to go explore.  After about 30 minutes of looking up destinations, I texted my best friend and asked if she wanted to go on a big road trip with me in a few weeks.  She didn't hesitate, she just said yes.  

Less than three weeks later I picked her up from her apartment.....

And we started our trip....

Our first stop was at Tyson's corner to do some shopping and have lunch...

And then off in to DC!

Our host for the evening was our lovely friend Katherine who had 2 glasses waiting for us.....Mekong glasses of course:)

Our DC plans were to hit up the theater for a musical....so we got ourselves all dolled up.
